The Ecospin Raptor is the first three-wheeled, personal electric vehicle to attain street-legal status in the UK.
Designed by two brothers, Paul and David Loomes, the battery-powered vehicle was designed for use by police officers, security guards and staff of large facilities such as amusement parks or airports. While the transportation method is not capable of breakneck speeds, it can hit up to 25 mph, which makes it ideal for covering a large area faster than walking allows -- but not necessarily the best option for a high-speed chase.
