The classic contour bottle from Coca-Cola will celebrate it's 94th birthday this year. The iconic soda pop packaging was created in 1915 for the brand with the single most recognizable logo in the world. From summer-ready soda cans to collaborations with fashion houses and designers, Coca-Cola bottles are reinvented and re-imagined all the time, but it is the timeless contour Coca-Cola bottles that will remain a brand standard.
Implications - A simple way for a business or company to restore the prestige or novelty of a product is by enhancing or modifying its branding or packaging. While consumers will subconsciously know that the product is the same, a fresh appearance will appeal to many consumers.
