Star Wars playthings have become more of a collection piece rather than what toys are traditionally used for.

The toys have been an incredible form of merchandise, spanning back to when the original movies came out in the 70s. If one is lucky enough to have those originals and they are in good condition, they will fetch an impressive dollar. For Star Wars fans, it isn’t uncommon for one’s house to be completely decorated in these adapted action figures, dolls, games and plushies. Along with other Star Wars merchandise, the toys have become a lifestyle.

With such an expansive collection, which spans over so many years and is available in so many countries, I’m willing to bet that there is no one who possesses the collection of Star Wars playthings in its entirety.
