The yellow-accented home is favored thanks to its whimsical and cheerful aesthetic qualities. MDDM Studio embraces the color palette for a recent project that entailed the refurbishment of a Beijing apartment for a young family. Spanning a total of 300-square-meters, the abode relies on an open-concept plan that allows room for activities and enables "a continuous flow between living room, entrance, dining room, kitchen, and playroom."
MDDM Studio also focused on nuance and texture juxtaposition for the yellow-accented home that will balance its appearance. As a result, the vibrant color accents — which also include teal in some rooms, are met by "cement flooring, [...] white-colored wood and metal fixtures." Another attention-captivating element comes in the form of terrazzo lining int the kitchen.
