From Anti-Tech Gaming Offices to Contemporary Family Farms
Jana Pijak — January 24, 2021 — Art & Design
These 2020 modern trends range from anti-tech gaming offices to contemporary family-friendly farms.
A standout includes Studio Toggle's multi-family farm house that is located in Kuwait City. "The structure is built for two brothers and their families and can be considered an extension of the concept of generational living." The home boasts two separate living spaces that are joined together by a central courtyard, encouraging bonding without compromising each home's privacy levels.
Analogue's minimalist Hong Kong office is another notable example that is brought to life by JJ Acuna / Bespoke Studio. Working closely with Christopher Taber, the founder of the gaming company, the design studio opts for a simplistic interior that is "not overly invaded or disrupted by technology," but rather a space "dedicated to (re)creating homage gaming systems."
