From Yellow-Accented Homes to Vietnamese-Inspired Robot Designs
Katherine Pendrill — March 31, 2020 — Art & Design
From homes to toys, the March 2020 modern trends reveal that contemporary design doesn't always need to mean sleek white walls.
For a number of years, modern design has been associated with a clean white aesthetic that is virtually void of color. However, the March 2020 modern trends reveal a noticeable shift towards more vivid designs and eye-popping colors. For instance, MDDM Studio recently designed a home in Bejing that is characterized by cheery yellow-accented walls and terrazzo lining in the kitchen.
And it's not just home design that's getting colorful. Abana Bilbao's stylish Reves Armchair features a bright aqua blue material. Similarly, the Rise of the Vietnamese Robots from conceptual design studio Design by Reborn features figurines painted with vibrant green, red, and blue hues.
