Italian architecture and interior design company 02A studio transforms the Casa Buondelmonti located in the Pigneto district in Rome. The home is defined by its vibrant tonal palette, updated by architects Marco Rulli and Thomas Grossi -- who are also founders of the firm.
The house was originally built in the early 20th century and notably, one of the clients was color blind. The studio considered this by adding vibrant hues and minimal graphics to the home. Marco Rulli, co-founder of the studio speaks about the project, stating “We spoke at length with the clients retracing their history, the houses they had lived in and the ones they had loved, so as to get as close as possible to the way of life and taste that they were seeking, to then translate them into an interior project that felt truly personal."
