Vegetarian skillet meals are often packed with vegetables to make up for a lack of meat or protein but Birds Eye is providing an alternative with its new Voila! Skillets with Gardein Plant-Based Protein. The skillet meals feature Gardein's Chick'n, a meatless alternative that resembles chicken strips.
The Meatless Garlic Chick'n variety combines spiral pasta with a medley of vegetables and the Alfredo Chick'n option offers a similar mix of ingredients but with penne, carrots, broccoli and peas. Each 1.75-cup serving shares 10 grams of protein and saves plenty of time in the kitchen, as the one-pan meals help to cut down on chopping and cleaning up multiple dishes, as they only really need to be warmed.
