UK vegan bakery brand Clive's Purely Plants launched a Tomato & Tofu Quiche with Basil and Cracked Black Pepper, which it describes as an Italian-inspired margherita pizza-style quiche. This shareable quiche is made with silken tofu and a pastry crust and it's a certified organic meal made in the brand's own Devon bakery.
The brand got its start making vegetarian pies in 1986 and has since transitioned to a fully vegan portfolio as of 2020, citing this move as "the next logical step." As more people become aware of the environmental, health and ethical benefits of a plant-based diet, they are seeking healthier and more sustainable food options for everyday meals and snacks.
Clive's Purely Plants also newly expanded its range with another organic product, Vegan Sausagey Rolls with Red Onion Chutney.
