The Space Channel's Elevator Prank Plays with People's Minds

This elevator prank to promote the Space Channel has people enter an elevator as usual and then show the face of a man on the TV screen inside the elevator, nothing that this corpse had disappeared from a funeral.
The passengers are on their way to another floor when the doors of the elevator open and they are confronted by the same “dead” man. Because elevators are so small and uncomfortable, it’s natural to want to follow the lead of everyone else inside and stand looking forward, without making eye contact. But the “corpse” menacingly stares directly at the elevator passengers, but doesn’t do much else. As absurd as it seems, it must have been terrifying to experience because your mind would be spinning out of control.
The promotion was for the Space Channel’s ‘Frightening October III,’ promising that “the fear will mess with your mind.”
