Hong Kong's first Pixar Fest is happening in Harbour City for a limited time this summer thanks to special celebrations for Pixar's 35th anniversary. Upon entering the Ocean Terminal Forecourt, people will be greeted by a large Pixar logo, the iconic Pixar Ball and Lamp installation and plenty of fun surprises for the whole family.
There are five augmented reality checkpoints that reference favorite movie scenes via the free Harbour City mobile app, Harbour Cityzen. Using the AR Fun camera on the app unlocks characters that people can take pictured with as if they've stepped into the movie scenes.
As well as in-person surprises to discover, Pixar Fest offers online and offline activities inspired by hit franchises like Inside Out and Cars 3.
