Most people would be underwhelmed at receiving a cereal box as a gift—unless it came in completely personalized packaging. For Christmas this year, Kellogg's ran a contest where 40 consumers had the chance to get a personalized sleeve for a Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes box.
In order to be eligible to win, people were asked to tweet their favorite thing about the holidays with the #FestiveFlakes tag. Alternatively, people could also answer a similar question that was asked on the brand's Facebook page. In order to make these cereal box gifts available before Christmas, the contest winners were announced on the 26th of November.
This year, a few other brands that are offering personalized packaging for Christmas include Marmite, as well as Oreo.
