Craft beer drinkers and coffee lovers have become fairly familiar with nitrogen-infused beverages over the last few years and now, Pepsi is introducing what it calls the first-ever nitrogen-infused cola beverage, 'Nitro Pepsi.' The first-of-its-kind nitro-infused cola is said to be a creamier, smoother product with a "velvety, cascading foam" and two flavor choices: Signature cola and Vanilla.
While Pepsi fans will be able to enjoy the recipe as traditional Pepsi, the infusion of nitrogen creates a richly textured drinking experience that leaves a frothy, foamy head on top of a glass that lasts much longer than fizzling carbonated bubbles. As such, Nitro Pepsi is best served cold and in a glass.
Pepsi plans to start sampling this new beverage at the Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta.
