The Monster Nitro energy drink is a new offering from Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) that will offer avid energy drink enthusiasts with a different option to try out.
The drink is made with the brand's signature energy drink recipe along with a blend of nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide gases in the mix. This is reported to give the drink a satisfying citrus taste as well as a light texture with a dryly carbonated mouthfeel. The drink will come in both 500ml plain as well as price-marked cans.
Associated Director for Commercial Development at CCEP Gemma Nicholas spoke on the new Monster Nitro energy drink further saying, "Energy drinks continue to grow, and much of this is down to the success of the Monster brand. In fact, more shoppers are buying more of Monster’s drinks, more often then ever before and with this in mind, we must continue to innovate, to secure their long-term loyalty and maintain engagement.”
