In the September 2020 mobile trends, you'll find new apps, hardware, smart accessories, and a number of new mobile-first experiences that were created to help consumers settle in to the "new normal" that comes as a result of the COVID-19 safety measures that are expected to remain in place for some time to come.
To increase engagement among younger makeup lovers, e.l.f. Cosmetics created a short-form reality show series that will be featured exclusively on TikTok. Called 'Eyes,' the show will feature three different creators, who will hone their makeup skills with the help of influencers Avani Gregg, Madi Monroe and Seth O’Brien.
Another interactive experience comes from Gucci, with the luxury brand launching a retro mobile arcade game to promote its 'Bloom' fragrance. In the game, players will explore a garden and open up flowers using magic, while acting as a character that's featured in the brand's advertising campaign.
