ExxonMobil and navigation app Waze have teamed up to offer consumers contactless fuel payments to help them enjoy a more seamless experience when stopping to fill up the tank. The new payment option will be available for drivers at the 11,500 Exxon or Mobil stations across the US and will work seamlessly by displaying the option through the Waze app as soon as the vehicle comes to a complete stop at the pump. Drivers can then simply select their fuel pump number or aim their smartphone at the posted QR code to make their payment in a matter of moments.
