According to Frédéric Antelme, the launch of the analytics app marks the first time a streaming service is offering analytic tools through a separate app. The Deezer streaming platform currently as a user base of approximately 16 million, which means its new analytics app could have a significant number of early users.
The new analytics app is able to provide insights in two major sections, which are analytics and audience. The analytics tab will show users information related to unique listeners, fan engagement, podcast shares, as well as popular listening times. The audience section will show users information related to listening demographics, including age, gender, and mobile or web listening.
