Get Amped Up for the Red Bull Stratos Jump with Red Bull Trends

Today, the energy drink powerhouse plans to do the impossible with the Red Bull Stratos jump from space. Felix Baumgartner, a 43-year-old former military parachutist from Austria, plans to take a stratospheric ballon 120,000 feet up into the air and free fall to earth at supersonic speeds.
Felix hopes to be the first skydiver to break the sound barrier as well as be the first to break three other world records. Naturally, Red Bull is sponsoring the entire event. This energy drink company has been known to sponsor several extreme sport stunts. From sponsored New York City racing short films to even dramatic art made out of Red Bull cans, this company sure knows how to capitalize on extremes.
Best of luck to Felix today -- hopefully the weather will hold off and we will get to successfully see him defy the odds for his Red Bull Stratos jump.
