From CGI Magazine Covers to Viral Snap Series

Celebrities and streaming both featured huge in the top March 2015 media trends.
The definition of "celebrity" has been changing in recent years; whereas the term once only referred to actors and musicians, it now extends to YouTube stars, Reality TV personalities and models (potentially hailing a return of the "supermodel" era). Not only are we seeing more of this new type of celebrity, we're also seeing more intimate glimpses into their lives.
The other big concept featured in the top March 2015 media trends was streaming. While streaming is not necessarily new, it is only now beginning to catch the attention of traditional networks, such as HBO, and inspiring them to adopt the streaming format pioneered by Netflix. On the other hand, consumers are also looking for more easily digestible forms of media, which is evident by the proliferation of short, viral programs and content.
