These Branded Pieces Show Where Fashion and Food Collide
Laura McQuarrie — December 31, 2016 — Fashion
The combination of fashion and food is not a new one, but the rise of foodie culture has inspired an entirely new relationship between the two. This is particularly true with fast food brands, a number of which have begun producing lifestyle products for fans. Some of the best examples of this include the new Taco Bell Taco Shop, which sells clothing and accessories from the QSR brand, Cheetos' fashion line and Domino's recently releasing "the world's first 'wipeable' onesie."
As well as releasing their own lines of branded merchandise, many fast food chains are also seeking out collaborations with established lifestyle brands to extend their reach. Notable examples of this include Pepsi teaming up with Del Toro Footwear and Coca-Cola launching a retro streetwear collection with Been Trill.
