The next time you weigh up your dessert options, consider going organic and eco-friendly -- you'll be doing yourself and your environment a favor. Normally the word 'dessert' conjures up images of diabetes, heart attacks and other unwanted health outcomes. However it's quite possible to enjoy a dessert that's both delicious and nutritious if you're willing to go organic.
Entire desserts like ice cream, yogurt, tarts, donuts and fruit-based treats can be reproduced in organic versions, as can add-ons such as toppings and condiments. The possibilities are endless so it's not like 'organic desserts' represent a niche category with lots of limitations.
The great thing about these eco dessert options is that they don't compromise on flavor -- after all, who'd eat dessert if it wasn't fun?
