Although we're seeing globalization do away with a number of differentiating factors when it comes to ethnicity, the inherent difference between cultures around the world sees markets requiring distinctly categorized approaches to sales, which is where these Asian marketing examples come to highlight a number of innovative ways that brands are capturing the attention of those in the East as well as the West. The Asia market is showing little sign of slowing down, which means a rise in the number of brands entering the market and the ways they're speaking to the culture.
From using certain cultural characteristics to location-based spots, Asian marketing is expanding the realm of advertising for brands on a global scale; perhaps with continued globalization we'll see the dissolution of boundaries beyond just geographical ones (think worldwide vs local).
