Kids all want to be, and act like, adults. Adults all want to be, and act like, kids. The following cluster clearly demonstrates these statements, including storybook furniture, cushy weaponry for kids, luxury cottages for kids, machine gun camps for kids, fake beer for kids, and kid fantasies for adults.
Implications - Children today are seen as growing up too fast, something that many companies are quick to capitalize on through that sale of adult products, like makeup and phones, to children. While younger consumers feel the need to act like adults, it is still essential for brands to bridge the gap without going to extremes. Allowing children to maintain their innocence will ensure that adult consumers can rest easy; brands who keep this in mind stand to gain patronage from both adults and children.
