El Segundo Brewing, an independent craft brewery that was formed in El Segundo, California back in 2011, has teamed up with none other than WWE legend 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin to launch a brand new double IPA that offers a heavyweight, knockout drinking experience.
This double IPA is a limited-edition offering. Coming in at eight percent ABV (alcohol-by-volume), this IPA makes use of a quadrant of hops of the Centennial, Cascade, Chinook and Citra varieties, which give this beer a complex flavor that combines semi-raw mango and citrus with fresh malt.
This unique partnership between El Segundo Brewing and 'Stone Cold' began when the WWE legend visited the brewery and shared his desire to get involved in a brewery project. The end result was Broken Skull IPA, the predecessor the bolder and stronger Broken Skull Double IPA.
