Turlock, California-based Dust Bowl Brewing Company has lifted the curtains off of its 'Liquid Confessional Double IPA,' a beer that will well and truly appeal to lovers of strong IPAs with unabashedly strong and in-your-face hop profiles.
The 'Liquid Confessional Double IPA' features a combination of New Zealand and American hops that give it its unique flavor profile. Specifically, this strong IPA makes use of varieties that include Nelson Sauvin, Nectaron, Columbus and Amarillo, with the end result being a beer that has a robust character. The brew comes in at nine percent ABV and 60 IBUs (International Bitterness Units).
Brewmaster Don Oliver revealed how the unique selection of hops was chosen for the 'Liquid Confessional Double IPA,' stating that is team "spent a lot of time exploring what New Zealand hops can offer and found some really good combinations with American hops that shine in Liquid Confessional.”
