John Wardle Architects created this scenic, wooden beach house located in Victoria, Australia. The Fairhaven Beach House is made up of several zinc-clad volumes in a U-formation that faces the ocean.
Walking through the homes twisting, timber-lined interior is an intriguing sojourn. The architects describe it as "a dynamic, fluid journey through the house from arrival to the ocean view." The interior also features a cantilevered study, an open-concept living area and kitchen that leads out to a secluded balcony, perfect for outdoor dining. A wine cellar, secondary living area and garage are located in the basement.
