Verday Vegan Meats are Packed in Shallow Food Trays Made for Recycling

Noel Alimentaria’s Verday range of plant-based meats are packaged in paper-based trays created in collaboration with Mondi. The plant-based meat range is showcased in Mondi’s paper-based PerFORMing tray, which is designed for recycling and made from 80% paper.
While consumers will be drawn to the unique varieties of plant-based meat in the range like Vegan Salmon Burgers, Vegan Cod Burgers and green-tinged Vegan Chicken Burgers with spinach, they will also appreciate the shift away from the industry-standard 100% plastic trays.
The rise of paper-based packaging across consumer products is a direct response to the increasing demand for sustainable alternatives to plastics. Paper-based packaging has proven to perform better than its plastic counterparts, all the while reducing the environmental stress and strain that single-use plastics put on the planet.
