Moonvalley protein bars are now packaged in paper packaging thanks to a partnership with Sweden-based pulp and paper manufacturer Billerud to help the brand shift away from plastic alternatives.
The brand is debuting its Raspberry and Cocoa Chocolate-Dipped Protein Bars in the paper-made packaging, which is sourced from renewable sources and features recyclable wood fibers. The eco-friendly packaging is the Billerud Recyclable Flow Wrap and will help the brand to reduce its contribution to plastic waste, while also reducing CO2 emissions. The new protein bar packaging will be making its debut at 7-Elven and Pressbyrån store locations.
Sustainability Manager at Billerud Radka Peterson spoke on the Moonvalley protein bars packaging partnership saying, "At Billerud, we develop packaging materials that challenge conventional packaging for a more sustainable future. Therefore, we are particularly pleased to now, together with Moonvalley, develop packaging for their products that reduce the climate impact and the use of plastic.”
