Back in 2015, IKEA launched veggie meatballs as an alternative to its famous Swedish meatballs and now, it is continuing to increase the number of plant-based options it offers with an all-new veggie hot dog.
At the IKEA Malmö store in Sweden, IKEA Food will be testing a plant-based hot dog as part of its IKEA Bistro range. After testing, the IKEA veggie hot dog is set to be made available at its stores across Europe as of August 2018 onwards.
As there are millions of people who enjoy food from IKEA, the furniture brand is taking it upon itself to provide a greater number of options for consumers who are looking to make more sustainable and healthy, yet affordable, food choices.
