The UK's leading supermarket chain, Sainsbury's, is launching its first-ever organic vegetable box. The new SO Organic Veg Box will offer UK families an affordable way to shop for organic produce. More than 30 years ago, Sainsbury's was the first UK supermarket to offer an organic produce line.
Customers will be able to purchase a vegetable box from Sainsbury's expansive 250-item catalog. The box comes with six different vegetables - with carrots, leeks, and potatoes remaining as staples. The other three vegetables will be chosen depending on the season. The produce will come packaged in a 100% recycled cardboard box and is a great way for families to shop sustainably and seasonally.
These limited-edition boxes will be available until October 13.
