The T-Mobile Earth Day celebration will show just how committed the company is to the environment and will involve two amazing initiatives. Much like the #GivingTuesday campaign led by T-Mobile, the company will once again ask users to tweet #TreeMobile, which will result in the company planting a tree for every tweet. The mobile carrier has pledged to donate up to 50,000 Long Leaf Pines to the effort and will help the Nature Conservancy hit its target of planting a billion trees by 2025.
The second T-Mobile Earth Day initiative will see the company donating $250,000 to a charity chosen by customers and employees. T-Mobile is currently offering four Nature Conservancy initiatives in its T-Mobile Tuesdays app, with users being able to vote on the one that means the most to them. The four initiatives up for vote include: Clean Energy, Planting a Billion Trees, Restore our Coral Reefs and Save the Panther.
