The Suurupi House by Muru & Pere Architects in Estonia is an astounding house extension. Located in the village of Suurupi, the home had another story added to it. Instead of keeping within the style of the existing home, the owners enlisted Muru & Pere Architects to come up with an organic structure that looks like a rectangular nest.
With a modern interior decorated mostly in black and white, the Suurupi House is contemporary both inside and out. The crisscrossed sticks even cover windows and doors (although a huge panoramic window at the front of the extension can be seen), but the space remains open and inviting.
