The ADC-commissioned 'Laser Cat' project by Hungry Castle and Kevin O'Callaghan is a strange and wonderful one that is encouraging 1 million people to submit artwork, so that Laser Cat can project it onto the moon. So far, there have been over 4,500 pieces of art submitted to the project online, which will enable Laser Cat to make projections onto buildings.
Laser Cat is hungry for any kind of creative work, but only until November 30th. Some of the renowned artists who have submitted their art to Laser Cat include Milton Glaser, James Victore and perhaps even the mysterious Banksy.
The giant art-projecting cat will be built by Kevin O'Callaghan and will be part of the ADC 93rd Annual Awards + Festival of Art and Craft in Advertising and Design.
