Japanese-American artist known as KATSU recently unveiled a solo exhibition at the OMNI Gallery located in London. The new Mecha artwork is a series of paintings that are made with the help of drone technology to create graffiti aesthetics true to KATSU to create a dynamic bright look.
The unique approach is done by creating custom-built painting drones programmed with special software to create hybrid landscapes, pointillists, and portrait paintings. The artwork is partially done by KATSU himself and is helped by the collaborative efforts of machines to channel the idea of the intersection of humans and technology together. The exhibition recently opened last week and will be on display at the OMNI Galerry up until October 16th.
