Consumers have been treated to plenty of high-protein ice cream products within the last few years and Real Good Foods Co. is introducing its own take on better-for-you frozen treats with its own low-carb ice cream. The products are branded as super premium pints that contain 170 to 200 calories and four to five grams of protein. Notably, the products are sweetened with the naturally occurring sugar allulose and are offered in favorite indulgent flavors like Salted Caramel, Cake Batter and Mocha Java Chip, plus other unique varieties like Almond Charcoal.
According to Real Good Foods, "Other healthier ice creams are classified as ‘light’ ice cream while ours is classified as ‘super-premium.' Unlike many other ‘light’ ice creams that often fluff their pints with air or water to hit a low-calorie claim, our ice cream is real."
