Subway® Reveals its New Plant-Based Sub, the Plant Picante

Subway® is set to launch the Plant Picante, a new vegetarian and plant-based Sub, nationwide on January 10th. Debuting during Veganuary, the addition to the Signature Series menu features a spiced plant patty topped with crispy onions, American-style cheese, Sweet Onion, and Garlic & Herbs sauces. For a 100% plant-based option, customers can choose Vegan Cheeze, a completely dairy-free cheese alternative.
Available in both 6-inch and Footlong sizes, the Plant Picante can be enjoyed on any of Subway's bread options, as a wrap, or as a salad. Consumers can also enjoy other vegan menu items such as the Veggie Delite (with Vegan Cheeze), Crinkle Wedges, and the famous Vegan Double Choc Cookie.
