Scottish brewer BrewDog has collaborated with The Vegan Kind, an online vegan subscription box and marketplace, to go about launching a delicious new vegan beer that will appeal to lovers of IPAs who also adhere to veganism, whether on a full-time basis or only during their beer-drinking sessions.
This vegan beer takes the form of a West Coast-style IPA that is suitably bitter thanks to the inclusion of Columbus and sultana varieties of hops, which are carefully blended along with Vienna malts in order to help create a beer that comes in at 5.5 percent ABV. In addition to hoppy bitterness, this vegan beer is said to have prominent notes of pineapple, citrus and arboreal pine.
