Danish architectural practice JAJA Architects is planning to take the humble multi-storey car park and turn it into something comprehensively awesome via their 'Park 'N' Play' project. The project, which will be carried out in the Danish capital Copenhagen, will consist of a multi-storey car park with a children's playground on the roof as well as substantial greenery to ensure it's not an eyesore. The project is part of a broader initiative to redevelop Copenhagen's harbor area.
One of the highlights of Park 'N' Play will be its surprisingly pretty external staircase, which will offer stunning views of the surrounding area. The stairs' handrails include a continuous bar that leads up to the roof before twisting into playground equipment.
The project is expected to be complete in late 2015.
