NYX and Snapchat Launched the 'Beauty Bestie' Shopping Filter

Snapchat partnered with NYX Professional Makeup on a new filter on the platform titled the 'NYX Beauty Bestie.' This filter will feature a daily rotation of popular makeup looks created and uploaded by other users and creators. These looks can be created using virtual versions of NYX makeup products, with careful attention to detail paid to the accuracy of the filter.

One unique aspect of this filter, though, is that if a user finds a look that they like through the filter, simply tapping the button on the bottom of the screen allows that user to purchase the exact makeup to use in real life. Additionally, there will be a 'more' button that showcases related items. This new initiative aims to increase the popularity of NYX with younger audiences, while also bolstering the online sales metrics for the cosmetics brand.
