Trending songs on TikTok have the potential to reach millions of consumers and NYX Professional Makeup co-created NYXTAPE with five independent female artists and female songwriters. In July 2024, NYX and TikTok hosted the artists and a three-day songwriting camp with support from award-winning producers.

With NYXTAPE, the beauty brand is pioneering the creation and distribution of co-owned music on TikTok, appealing to a new generation of creators. Another first for the brand is that it will have an Artist Profile on TikTok so that fans can download tracks from the campaign straight from the beauty brand's account.

NYXTAPE will be released in partnership with SoundOn—TikTok's music distribution and promotion platform, which helps artists earn royalties for their music and connect with the global TikTok community.
