This living billboard emphasizes the natural ingredients featured in this beloved cereal. To advertise Honey Nut Cheerios, this installation contains real live bees. The three storey structure spells out 'Made With Real Honey' -- the cereal brand's often used tagline. Fittingly, their mascot is also a honey bee.
Containing more than 100,000 bees in total, the living billboard uses actual honey product to spell out their message. Ten hives made 25 gallons of honey for this campaign, three of which were placed on the top floor of the structure. The other seven were placed nearby. The billboard is located just outside of Orlando, Florida at Diamond P Farm and Ranch. The bees were supplied by Brent Dickson and family.
