Sarah Dos Santos — December 16, 2013 — Art & Design
This beautiful screen house by K2LD Architects consists of a curvilinear pavilion that rests above the home's garden. The gazebo-like room offers a spectacular view of the home's surroundings, the pool below and the lush trees that circulate the structure.
The pavilion is made from a warm, brown wood and the interiors are illuminated solely by natural light. The sunlight gives the room a warm feeling and makes it the perfect spot for slow dances with your spouse, private yoga sessions, tea dates with your friends and quiet moments of reflection and observation.
K2LD Architects did an incredible job at creating a space that's so simple yet so full of purpose and creative design. The view the screen house offers cannot be compared. This quiet space is certainly a luxurious element to a home and the uses for the room are limitless.
