LAND Arquitectos finishes a seaside house along the coast in Chile dubbed the House of Circumferences, located about 300 kilometers North of the capital city. The house is designed with pavilions of wooden screens and designed around the foundational geometry of the native vegetation on the sloped base.
The wooden screens are along the southwest side of the building to be against the wind and are also used for light and solar radiation. The studio explains that "the central pavilion and the main bedroom rise above the sea as if on a ship, the rest of the bedrooms hide among the vegetation towards the rear of the site opening at the same time views towards the sea."
