Artist Julian Mayor has taken a computer-generated image and is in the stages of transforming it into a tangible design for a storefront. Located in the Shoreditch section of London, START Menswear will soon feature an installation that's sure to draw some stares from the street.
The design consists of angled panels, which look like someone has taken from a computer-generated image and placed them into reality. This approach for a storefront is different, especially for a clothing retail space. However, with so many competitors displaying mannequins out front, trying something different could help to capture the attention of passersby and attract them to examine the store in further detail. The coloring for the panels is made up of pastel hues which shine when the light hits them, again helping to gain attention.
