London's Bloody Drinks recently launched the Bloody Classic as a canned Bloody Mary cocktail and it will soon be following up this release with The Bloody Samurai, a different take on the concept as a Japanese Bloody Mary. According to the brand, the Japanese-style take on the classic cocktail is lighter and fruiter and boasts unconventional ingredients like dry sake, wasabi, pickled ginger, teriyaki and white miso alongside classic components of the Bloody Mary cocktail like tomato and lemon juice. Altogether, the cocktail is said to have some sweetness, umami flavors, tanginess, as well as a "punchy heat" from the inclusion of wasabi and hot sauce.
Soon, Bloody Drinks will also be adding to its assortment of ready-to-drink canned products with The Virgin, a non-alcoholic take on the classic cocktail.
