Cottages are usually a cozy pad located near a body of water but Rotterdam-based architect Jack Hoogeboom revamps the traditional cottage with a weekend getaway home that's incredibly chic.
It is called the Villa Renesse II and is located in Sealand, Netherlands. It comes equipped with a 12-meter indoor pool and wellness spa that'll take any stress away. The home is in a woodland area close to the North Sea where greenery flourishes throughout. It's made entirely from timber, which blends nicely with the environment.
Large skylights offer a lot of natural light with a spectacular nature view. There are private rooms for both guests and owners with each room equipped with its own spacious bathrooms. The upper floor acts as an open gallery but can also transform into a theatre when the glass partition blackens. Jack Hoogeboom makes this villa the perfect getaway for those who love to indulge in spas and nature.
