Non-traditional movie theaters make the cinematic experience an even greater one. While anyone can enjoy a film at their local theater, these cinemas feature luxe menus and impeccable interior design.
London's Electric Cinema in Notting Hill features an unusual first row of seats. Replacing a row of simple seating, this cinema offers a row of comfy double beds. Also fans of contemporary seating, Enraque Martanez is working towards vibrating seats and game pads for a hybrid movie theater that allows gamers to play their favorite games on the big screen.
Non-traditional movie theaters also include luxurious snack menus far more complex than the usual popcorn and soda combo. Outside of Paris, the EuropaCorp First Class Cinema offers movie-goers their choice of champagne as well as caviar.
