As a follow-up to its Spreadable Coffee Espresso Marmalade, Firebox is now introducing an infused marmalade that takes inspiration from a classic cocktail. The Spreadable Gin is in fact infused with alcohol, but Firebox notes that "all of the alcohol is cooked off during the creation process." The small-batch infused preserve is made by the Proper Marmalade Company with just a few simple ingredients, including: sugar, lemons, water, artisan gin, quinine extract, essential oils and citric acid.
In terms of how consumers might be inspired to use the Spreadable Gin, spreading it, baking with it or drinking it are all suitable options according to the brand.
As Firebox regularly creates viral products like Unicorn Tears Gin Liqueur and black marshmallows, the Spreadable Gin has already sold out in the pre-ordering stage.
