First Kiss: One Year Later Imagines If the Participants Stuck Around
Vasiliki Marapas — February 4, 2015 — Pop Culture
Barely Political has created 'First Kiss: One Year Later,' a hilarious parody of the First Kiss video that put LA clothing brand Wren on the map.
The original clip, which featured total strangers playing tongue-hockey with one another, has reached over 100 million views to date. More impressive than the views, however, might be the amount of parodies the adorable video has spawned.
This spoof features original participants Beth Hoyt and Tom Lipinksi as though they never left the set of the first video. Their "first kiss" is followed by other relationship milestones, such as the first text, first sexual encounter, first fight, first time meeting the parents and so on and so forth. Timed to coincide with the one-year anniversary of the original video's release last March, this four-minute spot imagines what a relationship would look like if it blossomed within the confines of a black-and-white vacuum directed by Todd Womack.
