Earlier this year, Volvo released ‘The Epic Split’ video, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme performing the splits between two trucks driving in reverse. The video went absolutely viral for truly being the most epic of splits.
This parody from Delov Digital challenges Volvo’s video. It features an animated Chuck Norris — which already sets the tone for the level of epic that the video will be.
Just as Van Damme does, the animated Norris has a short monologue. The video begins quite close, showing only the face of Norris and zooms out to reveal that he’s unflinchingly performing the splits between two flying aircraft, while balancing 11 men on his head that are strung up in lights to look like a Christmas tree. The scenario is absolutely ridiculous, but it has been very successful at garnering a millions of views.
